09-08-1944 : HMS Trenchant sinks the Japanese fishing vessel Hiyoshi Maru No.3 and two other small Japanese vessels with gunfire off the south-west coast of Sumatra.
16-09-1944 : HMS Trenchant lays mines in the the Straits of Malacca.
19-09-1944 : HMS Trenchant sinks two Siamese sailing vessels through ramming east of Sumatra.
23-09-1944 : The German submarine U-859 is sunk north-west of Penang in the Straits of Malacca by torpedoes from HMS Trenchant.
27-10-1944 : Chariots released by HMS Trenchant sink the Japanese army cargo ship Sumatra Maru in Phuket harbour, Siam.
21-12-1944 : HMS Trenchant sinks two Japanese landing craft with gunfire off the eastern coast of Sumatra.
22-12-1944 : Accompanied by HMS Terrapin. They sink the Japanese tanker Yaei Maru No.6 with gunfire off the south side of the Japanese Fleet anchorage at Lingga Roads

30-12-1944 : HMS Trenchant sinks a Japanese sailing vessel with gunfire in the Malacca Strait.
31-12-1944 : HMS Trenchant sinks two Japanese sailing vessels with gunfire in the Malacca Strait.
24-02-1945 : HMS Trenchant sinks one 100 ton vessel, two 20 ton lighters and 3 junks.

08-06-1945 : HMS Trenchant torpedoes and sinks the Japanese heavy cruiser Ashigara in the northern entrance of Bangka Straits.
13-07-1945 : HMS Trenchant sinks a Japanese sailing vessel with gunfire off western Celebes, Netherlands East Indies.
15-07-1945 : HMS Trenchant sinks three small Japanese vessels with gunfire north-east of the Lombok Strait.
