1940Snapper (N39)HMS Snapper sinks the small German tanker Moonsund with gunfire off Larvik, Norway.
1941Tetrarch (N77)HMS Tetrarch torpedoes and sinks the Italian tanker Persiano about 30 nautical miles north-west of Tripoli, Libya.
1941Upholder (N99)HMS Upholder was out of torpedoes, but still achieved a minor success by persuading an enemy convoy to turn round by firing a star-shell.
