1940 | Swordfish (N61) | HMS Swordfish comes across the Norwegian yacht Maski in the North Sea. The four Norwegians aboard the yacht were trying to flee to the United Kingdom. After the Norwegians were taken aboard and the Maski was sunk with gunfire. |

1941 | Upholder (N99) | While on patrol near Marettimo island, off the western tip of Sicily HMS Upholder fired 4 torpedoes at an Italian task force, damaging the light cruiser Giuseppe Garibaldi. |
1941 | Utmost (N19) | HMS Utmost torpedoes and sinks the Italian merchant Frederico C. in the southern Tyrrhenian Sea of the west coast of Calabria, Italy. |

1942 | Traveller (N48) | While in transit through the Otranto Straits to her patrol area HMS Traveller is detected on the surface by an Italian destroyer. Traveller dived and a few depth charges were dropped but these inflicted no damage. Later on the same day she attacks the Italian merchant Ezilda Croce, on passage from Bari to Valona, in the Otranto Strait. The torpedoes fired however miss their target. An escorting aircraft dropped bombs on the submarine. |
