The communities of Prestwich donations included a football kit donated by Sedgley Park toward HMS Utmost. The presentation plaque used to be in Prestwich Memorial Hall, but was relocated to Bury with the Jolly Roger. A further plaque to HMS Utmost is in the Remembrance Chapel in St Mary’s Church.

12-02-1941 : HMS Utmost torpedoes and damages the Italian merchant Manfredo Camperio off Tripoli, Libya.
09-03-1941 : HMS Utmost torpedoes and sinks the Italian merchant Capo Vita about 30 nautical miles north-east of Sousse, Tunisia.
28-03-1941 : HMS Utmost attacks a convoy of 5 German merchants and three Italian destroyers and torpedoes and sinks the German merchants Heraklea and torpedoed and damages the Ruhr 22 nautical miles south-east of Kuriat, Tunisia.
30-05-1941 : HMS Utmost makes a torpedo attack on a convoy off Sirte. All torpedoes miss their targets.
26-06-1941 : HMS Utmost torpedoes and sinks the Italian merchant Enrico Costa 4 nautical miles from Cape Todaro, Sicily, Italy.
28-07-1941 : HMS Utmost torpedoes and sinks the Italian merchant Frederico C. in the southern Tyrrhenian Sea of the west coast of Calabria, Italy.
01-11-1941 : HMS Utmost destroys the Italian merchant Marigola off Kuriat Island, Tunisia.
02-11-1941 : ORP Sokol and HMS Utmost together sink the Italian merchant Balilla about 20 nautical miles north-west of Capo San Vito, Sicily, Italy.
21-11-1941 : HMS Utmost torpedoed and damaged Italian cruiser Luigi di Savoia Duca Degli Abruzzi in the Mediterranean.
12-12-1941 : HMS Utmost attacks the Italian merchant Fabio Filzi in the Gulf of Taranto but miss the target.
10-08-1942 : HMS Utmost fires four torpedoes against the Italian merchant Siculo off Marettimo but miss the target.
