| 1943 | O 24 (Dutch) | Shelled in error by the American merchant Point Clear South of Ceylon. No damage was sustained. |
| 1945 | XE 3 (Sigyn) | XE-3 made a successful attack on a Japanese heavy cruiser of the Atago class at her moorings in Johore Strait, Singapore, on 31st July, 1945 for which a VC was awarded. Leading Seaman Magennis served as Diver in XE-3 during the same attack and was also awarded the VC. |
