1941 Thunderbolt (N 25) HMS Thunderbolt sinks the Italian sailing vessel Citta di Simi with gunfire some 12 miles north-east of Cape Sidero, Crete.
1942 Saracen (P 247) A submarine duel occurred on this day in the Mediterranean. The British submarine HMS Saracen fired two torpedoes at U-605, but missed. The U-boat replied with four torpedoes, but these also missed
1942 Safari (P 211) HMS Safari fires four torpedoes, but missed, against the Italian about 10 nautical miles south-east of Dubrovnik, Croatia, Yugoslavia.
1942 Unison (P 43) HMS Unison torpedoes and sinks the Italian merchant Enrichetta about 12 nautical miles west-south-west of Kyparissia, Greece.

1943 Trooper (N 91) HMS Trooper sailed from the Base at Beirut on 28th September 1943 for a patrol off the west of the Dodocanese Islands.

The Submarine failed to arrive back as expected on 17th October and was assumed to have been sunk by a mine on 10th Oct 1943. There were no survivors.
1944 Virtue (P 75) While operating off Crete HMS Virtue sinks the Greek sailing vessels Sophia and Aghia Anna with gunfire.
