1917 C 32 (I 62) Based at Rogekul to operate in the Gulf of Riga, the submarine was seriously damaged during attack on German naval forces in October 1917. Deliberately ran aground and destroyed by her crew near Pernau, Gulf of Riga.

1939 Undine (N 48) HMS Undine departed Rosyth for her 2nd war patrol. She was ordered to patrol off the West coast of Denmark and in the Heligoland Bight.
1941 Urge (N 17) Urge was patrolling off Kuriat Island, Tunisia when he sighted a Merchant Vessel which he fired three torpedoes. They were seen and avoided by the target but a fourth torpedo hit and sank the 1,407 ton MARIA POMPEI. On the same day another attack resulted in the sinking of the 5,996 ton MARIGOLA.

1943 Unseen (P 51) HMS Unseen torpedoes and sinks the German barge F 541 off Imperia, Liguria, Italy.
1944 Tantivy (P 319) While operating in Makassar Strait HMS Tantivy sinks the Japanese Communications Vessel No. 137. Tantivy also sinks 6 small vessels that are unidentified with gunfire.

2010 Astute (S 119) HMS Astute grounded in shallow waters off the Isle of Skye just after 8am.

The vessel was on the surface conducting a personnel transfer when her rudder became grounded when its rudder apparently became stuck on a shingle bank in the Kyle of Lochalsh, near the Skye road bridge.

During the operation to tow Astute clear, there was a collision between the rescue tug and the submarine, which resulted in damage to her starboard foreplane. The submarine returned under its own power to Faslane, where the damage incurred in the grounding and afterward was described as minor.
