1915 E 8 (I 88) HMS E8 sank the German armored cruiser Prinz Adalbert in the Baltic. The sinking led the Germans to temporarily withdraw all their capital ships from operations in the Baltic

1941 Triumph (N 18) HMS Triumph sinks the Greek sailing vessels Panagiotis and Aghia Paraskeva with gunfire in the Gulf of Petali, Greece.
1941 Truant (N 68) HMS Truant torpedoes sinks the German merchant Virginia S. in the Otranto Strait about 30 nautical miles east of Capo Santa Maria di Leuca, Italy. The Italian Arborea was missed during the same attack.
1942 Umbra (P 35) HMS Umbra torpedoes and destroys the grounded German supply ship Amsterdam off Khoms, near Tripoli, Libya. She also sinks the Italian tug Pronta that is trying to salvage the Amsterdam.
