1939 Undine (N 48) HMS Undine departed Blyth for her 3rd war patrol. She was ordered to patrol off the South-West coast of Norway.
1942 Splendid (P 228) HMS Splendid sinks the Italian merchant Luigi Favorita with gunfire about 80 nautical miles from Capo Carbonara, Sardinia, Italy.
1942 Unruffled (P 46) HMS Unruffled attacks the Italian submarine Antonio Sciesa with torpedoes off Buerat, Libya. All torpedoes miss.
1942 Porpoise (N 14) HMS Porpoise sinks the Italian auxiliary patrol vessel F 39/Fertilia with gunfire off Kerkennah, Tunisia.
1942 Traveller (N 48) HMS Traveller (Lt. M.B. St. John, RN) arrived at Malta with a cargo of aviation spirit.
1943 Talent (P 322) / Zwaardvisch (Dutch) Commisioned into to the Royal Netherlands Navy. She was renamed Zwaardvisch, Dutch for 'Swordfish'. She went on to lead a distinguished career.
1944 Sidon (P 259) Sidon was completed and commenced trials followed by the start of working up training at the Holy Loch
