A 10 (I 10)

Fate: A10 sank whilst alongside the Depot Ship HMS Pactolus at Adrosssan on 17th March 1917. The Submarine was not in commission at the time having been paid off into Reserve in May 1916.

There was a report that a party of school boys had been shown round the Submarine earlier in the day! There were no casualties.

Submarine A10 was later raised and was sold for scrap on 1st April 1919 to the Ardrossan Dockyard Company.

 17-03-1917   A10 foundered while moored alongside HMS Pactolus, at Eglinton Dock, Ardrossan. She was re-floated and sold two years later.
 01-04-1919   Sold for breaking to Ardrossan Drydock Co.
