1942 Traveller (N 48) HMS Traveller attacked the Italian submarine Porfido in the Adriatic Sea, about 25 nautical miles North-East of Pescara. Two torpedoes were fired which missed astern. Traveller then surfaced for gun action. 15 rounds were fired before the target dived as soon as Traveller opened fire and suffered no damage.
1943 Rorqual (N 74) HMS Rorqual lays 29 mines off the Gulf of Saloniki, Greece.
1943 O 23 (Dutch) O23 sights a ship very nearby about 30 nautical miles south-southwest of Penang. The torpedo tubes could not be brought to the ready quickly enough for an attack so O23 surfaced and gave chase, but she was spotted by the enemy and attacked with gunfire. O23 submerged and was depth charged by an escort vessel but she suffered no damage and was able to slip away.
1944 Terrapin (P 323) HMS Terrapin bombards Japanese installations at Gunung Sitoli, western Sumatra. She also sinks a Japanese coaster with gunfire and damages another.
1944 Turpin (P 354) Launched
1945 Sea Dog (P 216) HMS Seadog sinks a Japanese sailing vessel with demolition charges.
1945 Shalimar (P 242) HMS Shalimar sinks three small Japanese sailing vessels with gunfire.
