1914: Lieutenant   S Gravener
1916: Lieutenant   Kenneth Michell

1914: Attached to Mediterranean Fleet, Tenedos.
Adriatic Squadron, 1915. Marco Polo, Venice.
Dardanelles Flotilla. Hindu Kush at Mudros, Lemnos

Served in the Mediterranean and was sent to Venice along with B6 and B8. She was the first submarine to be sunk by aircraft. Having returned from patrol and berthed alongside the depot ship Marco Polo, she was found to have sunk after an air raid.

She was salvaged and placed in dock for repairs. A fire was started by an Italian using cutting gear near one of B10's petrol tanks which remained un-emptied. The dock was flooded, whether by accident, panic or design and the destruction of the boat was complete.

She unsuccessfully attacked an Austrian merchant ship in June of 1916.

Two members of the crew of Submarine B10 were lost on 2nd January 1915. They were both washed overboard when the submarine was charging batteries during a patrol north of the island of Tenedos. One was picked up but died without regaining consciousness. The other was not recovered.

Renamed S10 after being converted to a patrol boat.

Class: 1973 - 2010: Swiftsure Class
Built By: Vickers (Barrow)
Build Group: SSN 4
Fate:
Cracks were found in the reactor in 1992 and was decommissioned the same year.

Swiftsure is currently in dry dock at Rosyth, in Scotland, where it is being carefully dismantled.

An estimated 90% of her total weight will be repurposed, with some of the high-quality steel used to create components for future Royal Navy submarines.

Swiftsure is set to be first of the UK's decommissioned nuclear submarines to be fully dismantled by the end of 2026.

Operation Title
rime Minister Winston Churchill referred to Tirpitz as 'The Beast' and on 25th January 1942 he wrote, The destruction or even the crippling of this ship is the greatest event at this present time. No other target is comparable to it. With these words the seeds were sown for Operation TITLE, an Allied mission to sink Tirpitz.
