| 19-08-1916 | Attacked the battleship Seydlitz with torpedoes fired from bow and stern, both torpedoes missed the target. These shots were fired at the recommended distances at the time. She later fired a further two torpedoes at the battleship Westphalen at what Turner thought was the ideal distance and scored a hit. |

The result is the first definitive account what happened to HMS Thetis and her men a fitting tribute, as the seventieth anniversary of her loss will be on 1 June 2009.
