1918 H 4 Foundered in the English channel while under tow to be scrapped. She was salvaged and used as a target the following year.

1939 Sterlet (N 22) HMS Sterlet departed Dundee for her 1st war-patrol off south-west Norway.
1940 Truant (N 68) HMS Truant intercepts the German merchant Tropic Sea. The Tropic Sea is scuttled in the Bay of Biscay about 235 nautical miles north-west of Cape Finisterre, Spain.

1941 Trident (N 52) While returning to base at Polyarnoe, Russia, HMS Trident is fired upon but missed by the German submarine U-566.
1941 Otus (N 92) HMS Otus fires a torpedo at an enemy armed merchant cruiser of 4000 tons in the central Mediterranean about 175 nautical miles east of Valetta, Malta. The torpedo misses.

1942 Traveller (N 48) HMS Traveller HMS Traveller was off Tobruk, patrolling at periscope depth when she was bombed by an unseen aircraft. There was no damage.
1944 Strongbow (P 235) HMS Strongbow sinks three Siamese sailing vessels with gunfire off the west coast of Siam.
1944 Vigorous (P 74) HMS Vigorous claims the sinking of two sailing vessels off Paximadia Island, Greece.
1945 Trident (N 52) Returned from her last patrol to Trincomalee, being the last boat of the East Indies Fleet to return from patrol
1986 DDH Opened Mrs Margaret Thatcher, Prime Minister, officially opened Devonshire Dock Hall.
