Vickers and Barrow are names synonymous with the development of the submarine. Hundreds of submarines covering virtually every class have been built for the Royal Navy and foreign Navies. This site is dedicated to not only to those who have served on Her Majesty's Submarines but also to those employees past and present whose skills and efforts have given pride to the phrase 'Barrow built' and made the name Vickers known and respected throughout the world.

1941	Osiris (N 67)	HMS Osiris damages the Italian merchant Capo d'Orso with torpedo and gunfire off Argostolion, Kefalonia Island, Greece.
1941	Simoom (P 225)	Laid Down
1943	Unshaken (P 54)	HMS Unshaken sinks the Italian auxiliary patrol vessel No 265/Cesena with gunfire off the southern coast of Calabria, Italy.
1944	Universal (P 57)	HMS Universal damages the Spanish sailing vessel Sevellina off Port Vendres, southern France.
1944	Vivid (P 77)	HMS Vivid torpedoes and sinks the German merchant Suzanne off the Gulf of Korinth.
1944	Selene (P 254)	Completed
1944	P 553	Returned to USN
1945	Supreme (P 252)	HMS Supreme sinks a Japanese tug and a barge with gunfire in the Gulf of Siam.
1946	Shakespeare (P 221)	Written off as a constructive total loss and sold for breaking up to Ward, of Briton Ferry.
2017	Torbay (S 90)	Following her final deployment, HMS Torbay was decommissioned at a ceremony at Devonport Naval Base. Torbay was scheduled to be decommissioned in 2015, due to extended maintenance she stayed in service until today
