1942 Upholder (N 99) On the 12th April HMS Upholder was ordered to form a patrol line with HMS Urge and HMS Thrasher to intercept a convoy. It is not known if this signal was received and the submarine failed to return to harbour on her due date. A number of theories exist as to the fate of Upholder, the most likely is that she fell victim to a depth charge attack by the Italian anti-submarine vessel Pagaso on 14th April east of Tripoli although no debris was seen and the position of the attack would have put Upholder some 100 miles out of position, however, this can be explained by the submarine changing position to find richer pickings.

A second theory is that the submarine struck a mine near Tripoli on the night of 11th April, supported by the fact that a submarine was sighted approaching a minefield.
1942 Turbulent (N 98) HMS Turbulent sinks the Italian sailing vessel Franco with gunfire off Sebenico, Yugoslavia.

1943 Ultor (P 53) HMS Ultor torpedoes and sinks the French Penerf off Nizza, southern France.

An Angry Crowd swarms around a small prison. Inside General Sajid Khan stares stoically at his captors. Responsible for genocide and the mass murder of thousands of people, the deposed Warlord is being held unil trial.

The guards scramble but Khan remains calm. One week later Naval Headquarters are told that there's an explosion on an Australian Cruise Ship. This is the second attack and no one knows who is responsible, although Kahn goes missing.

Captain Will Hanley discovers that Kahn has spent his considerable fortune on a renovated Russian Submarine, complete with nuclear missiles which he plans to launch at a city untouched by terrorism, Los Angeles.

Hanley manages to find Khan but the action culmintes in an explosive battle alongside a dangerous reef, where failure will have an unbearable cost.
